The ideal applicant should be able to work in collaboration with other building educators to provide high-quality, engaging care for students in a variety of settings, such as the classroom, the lunchroom, recess, and one-on-one support. This is a 10-month position that is supervised by a member of the school leadership team.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Detailed Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Plan and execute small and whole group learning activities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Actively manage and engage students in a variety of settings, including recess, lunch, the classroom, and the infant-toddler room&nbsp;</li> <li>Proactively support students who are struggling behaviorally</li> <li>Work with staff to ensure a safe and joyful school environment</li> <li>Adhere to all school policies and procedures</li> <li>Other duties as assigned by the supervisor</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Education and Experience:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma;</li> <li>Experience in an urban school setting</li> <li>All employees must be able to provide a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check Clearance (Act 34), a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), a Federal Bureau of Investigation Record Check Clearance (Act 114), and a Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Clearance (Act 168) before starting work on campus</li> </ul> <p>Skills and Abilities:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Enjoys working with and for children</li> <li>Team player</li> <li>Flexible and dependable</li> <li>Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and a variety of individualized needs</li> <li>Previous experience working with young children preferred</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p></p> <p data-start="876" data-end="1162">Thank you for taking the time to apply to Belmont Charter Network.
