European Natural Gas & LNG Analyst/Trader at Jane Street

<h3>About the Position</h3> <p>We are looking for an experienced natural gas analyst/trader to help our team develop our existing fundamental-driven trading. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing deep insight into the European and/or Global gas market, driving and owning modelling and associated trading strategy. The role sits within the global Commodity team, which covers a wide range of products and strategy types within Jane Street’s core quantitative trading strategy.</p> <p>The right person will have a strong fundamental background in natural gas and enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.</p> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of professional experience in analyzing European natural gas fundamentals</li> <li>Exposure to building part or all of the Global LNG S&amp;D balance is a plus</li> <li>Strong analytical capabilities</li> <li>Experience with oil or gas physical markets is beneficial</li> <li>Proficiency in statistics</li> <li>Coding skills are a plus</li> <li>Fluency in English required</li> </ul> <p><em>If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to&nbsp;</em><em>[email protected]</em><em>.</em></p>
