Our team of specialized professionals delivers an unparalleled five-star client experience through integrated departments: Golf Coaching, Fitness Training, Recovery, Custom Club Fitting, and Build Operations.</p> <p>At UGP, we train everyday golfers like Tour-level athletes — combining data, coaching, and equipment to help clients perform at their highest level.</p> <p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking driven and detail-oriented individuals passionate about golf equipment, performance, and client experience to join our growing team as a <strong>Club Fitter</strong>.</p> <p>As a Club Fitter at UGP, you will play a key role in:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Delivering high-level custom club fittings</p> </li> <li> <p>Driving club sales through education and performance-based recommendations</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborating with coaches and the build shop to ensure seamless execution</p> </li> </ul> <p>This role requires a strong understanding of golf equipment, the ability to communicate clearly with clients, and a commitment to delivering a premium, results-driven experience.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct comprehensive club fittings using TrackMan and other performance technologies</p> </li> <li> <p>Analyze ball flight, club delivery, and player tendencies to recommend optimal equipment</p> </li> <li> <p>Educate clients on how equipment impacts performance in a clear, simple, and confident way</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive club sales through a consultative, performance-based approach (not transactional selling)</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with coaches to align equipment recommendations with swing changes and player goals</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with the build shop to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all builds</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain detailed and organized fitting notes within MINDBODY and internal systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist in maintaining demo equipment and ensuring fitting bays are organized and fully stocked</p> </li> <li> <p>Deliver a five-star client experience by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in ongoing training and development around equipment, fitting systems, and sales</p> </li> <li> <p>Support tours and assist in educating new clients on UGP’s club fitting process</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience and Qualifications Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>1–3+ years of experience in club fitting, golf retail, or a related field</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong understanding of golf equipment, shafts, and ball flight laws</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience using TrackMan or similar launch monitor technology preferred</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information</p> </li> <li> <p>High attention to detail and organizational skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Positive, energetic personality with a passion for golf and helping others improve</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Frequently required to talk, hear, and use hands/fingers to handle objects</p> </li> <li> <p>Engage in physical activity, including standing, walking, and bending</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to lift and move golf equipment (up to 50 pounds)</p> </li> <li> <p>Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus</p> </li> <li> <p>Work environment: moderate noise level in an active training facility</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Type:</strong></p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor’s degree</p> </li> <li> <p>4+ years of golfing experience</p> </li> <li> <p>Previous club fitting certification or OEM training (Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, etc.)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in a high-end retail, hospitality, or service environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Willingness to relocate to California or Texas prior to starting</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Location:</strong></p> <p>In person at one of our UGP locations (West LA, Santa Monica, Orange County, Austin, or El Segundo)</p> <p><strong>Why This Role
