The objective is to reduce false positives, improve matching quality, and strengthen auditability and regulatory defensibility in a highly regulated environment.</p> <p data-start="689" data-end="924">Lead the end-to-end rebuild of sanctions monitoring, covering operational processes, technology, and tuning/remediation, with AI-assisted capabilities that improve efficiency while remaining explainable, auditable, and regulator-ready.</p> <h4 data-start="1223" data-end="1252">Key Responsibilities</h4> <ul data-start="1253" data-end="2210"> <li data-start="1253" data-end="1422"> <p data-start="1255" data-end="1422">Own end-to-end delivery of the sanctions screening transformation, including <strong data-start="1332" data-end="1419">governance, delivery plan, dependencies, vendor coordination, and benefits tracking</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1423" data-end="1585"> <p data-start="1425" data-end="1585">Define and standardize operational sanctions screening processes; oversee implementation and ensure remediation actions are delivered effectively and on time.</p> </li> <li data-start="1586" data-end="1734"> <p data-start="1588" data-end="1734">Establish operating controls, including <strong data-start="1628" data-end="1731">alert triage models, evidence capture, audit logging, SLA management, and confidentiality standards</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1735" data-end="1895"> <p data-start="1737" data-end="1895">Provide <strong data-start="1745" data-end="1762">SME oversight</strong> for investigations of potential sanctions matches (name screening), including research, data gathering, and documentation quality.</p> </li> <li data-start="1896" data-end="2029"> <p data-start="1898" data-end="2029">Ensure alignment with <strong data-start="1920" data-end="1946">Polish AML obligations</strong> and <strong data-start="1951" data-end="1979">GIIF-facing expectations</strong>, including escalation and reporting discipline.</p> </li> <li data-start="2030" data-end="2210"> <p data-start="2032" data-end="2210">Partner with <strong data-start="2045" data-end="2073">Compliance (1LoD / 2LoD)</strong> and business stakeholders to issue opinions on higher-risk relationships or transactions and define <strong data-start="2174" data-end="2209">risk-based control enhancements</strong>.</p> </li> </ul> <h4 data-start="2212" data-end="2241">AI / Analytics Layer</h4> <ul data-start="2242" data-end="2744"> <li data-start="2242" data-end="2431"> <p data-start="2244" data-end="2431">Drive the introduction of <strong data-start="2270" data-end="2301">AI/ML-assisted capabilities</strong> to reduce false positives and improve matching accuracy, with strong model governance (validation, monitoring, explainability).</p> </li> <li data-start="2432" data-end="2579"> <p data-start="2434" data-end="2579">Coordinate <strong data-start="2445" data-end="2490">data science, engineering, and compliance</strong> teams to ensure AI solutions are auditable, explainable, and defensible to regulators.</p> </li> <li data-start="2580" data-end="2744"> <p data-start="2582" data-end="2744">Leverage AI to accelerate investigation and documentation workflows where appropriate, in line with emerging market practices for AI-supported AML/KYC operations.</p> </li> </ul> <h4 data-start="2746" data-end="2783">Required Experience &amp;
