Events Marketer at Pylon Labs
About the Role
Overview
Pylon is a Series B, AI-native B2B company building the next generation of customer support.
Legacy platforms like Zendesk and Salesforce Service Cloud were built around tickets. Pylon is built around accounts, real-time collaboration, and AI-driven customer intelligence.
This is a massive market with incumbents that weren't built for AI-first workflows.

About the role
Events are our most proven pipeline channel and this role owns it.
As the Events Marketer at Pylon, you will own our events program from strategy through execution: deciding where to invest, building out owned event formats, and ensuring every touchpoint before, during, and after moves the right people closer to a conversation with our team. You'll build Pylon's brand presence with founders and post-sales leaders and partner closely with Sales, Success and Marketing to make sure every event drives the business forward.
We have playbooks that work. We're looking for someone to take what's working and push it further with more creativity, testing, and scale. This role is ideal for someone who is as comfortable developing a quarterly events strategy as they are on-site running a dinner.
Responsibilities
Develop the annual events strategy: which events to invest in, why, and what success looks like for each
Own our conference presence end to end, from contract and booth to on-site execution and post-event follow-up
Build and scale our hosted event programs: dinners, workshops, founder community events, and wrap-around activations
Develop community programs that extend the value of events beyond the room, including formats like a Slack community for customers and power users
Own the planning and execution of our first-ever Pylon user conference
Drive pre-event targeting and outreach in close collaboration with sales to ensure the right people are in the room
Manage the on-site experience and post-event follow-up to drive pipeline progression
Build repeatable playbooks so the events program scales as we grow
Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts across all programs
Report on events performance against pipeline and relationship outcomes, not just attendance
Use Claude and other AI tools to accelerate your work across research, outreach, logistics, and reporting
This role might be for you if you:
Have 5+ years in event marketing or a closely related role at a B2B SaaS company
Have demonstrated ownership of an events program, not just execution within one
Have strong strategic instincts: you can articulate why an event belongs in the plan, not just how to run it
Are highly organized and can manage multiple programs simultaneously without losing the details
Build strong relationships with sales and know how to align events to pipeline goals
Are comfortable as both the strategist and the person setting up the room
Are willing and excited to travel 20-40% of the time for on-site execution
Strong candidates may also
Have experience with creative, experiential, or guerrilla marketing formats
Have familiarity with Salesforce, Clay, Sequel, or similar tools
Bring existing relationships with venues, production agencies, or AV partners
This role might not be for you if you
Prefer a standard nine-to-five schedule with fixed, predictable hours
Are not excited by the thought of frequent travel for on-site execution
Would rather work in isolation than collaborate with cross-functional teams
Avoid ambiguous environments and prefer following existing playbooks over building and testing new ones
Our Perks
🏥 Fully covered medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees
🏦 401(k) retirement plan
🚆 Commuter benefits
🌱 Parental leave
🏝️ 14 company holidays + unlimited PTO
🗺️ Annual offsite
🍽 Lunch, dinner, and snacks at the office
