In 2025, Roofstock took an ownership stake in <strong>Casago</strong> (short-term rental management services), expanding our platform to support both long-term and short-term rental investment services.</p> <p><strong>About the Role:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Trade Specialist is responsible for the scope and pricing review of our occupied service requests in an assigned region. This person will manage a queue of tasks, support cross-functional operations teams, and contribute to our standardized pricing tools.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Use your maintenance knowledge to review and validate estimates above our standard not to exceed limits</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Share maintenance knowledge with internal teams by leading training and providing context on complex scopes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serve as a liaison to vendors for all needs regarding scope and pricing</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support our R&amp;M team by remaining available and processing onsite increase requests</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Reviewing the quality of work to assist our teams with escalations.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist in projects regarding price books and standardization&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Share maintenance knowledge with internal teams by leading training and providing context on complex scopes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serve as a liaison to vendors for all needs regarding scope and pricing</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Review invoice submissions to ensure the work has been completed and pricing is inline with expectations</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">10+ years of experience in residential maintenance, construction, home insurance, or estimating</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate deals and an understanding of fair and optimal pricing structures</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent planning, organization, delivery skills, and comfortable in high-pressure situations</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent attention to detail</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication to work successfully with a range of stakeholders including regional employees, field staff, office staff, executive leadership, and external customers</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Thrives in a fast-paced and startup environment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tech-savvy</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Location: </strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>This position is classified as <strong>REMOTE</strong> but must be located in Atlanta, GA, Tampa, FL, or Charlotte, NC</p> <p><strong>Compensation: </strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">$60,000 - $74,000 annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and premium location.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>Pay Transparency</strong></p> <p>Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets.
