Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.</p></div><p></p> <p><strong>Position Overview:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>ANSER is seeking&nbsp;a&nbsp;Strategic Engagement Analyst&nbsp;to&nbsp;support&nbsp;the Office of the&nbsp;Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy&nbsp;(IBP) Global Investment and Economic Security Directorate (GIES).&nbsp;In this&nbsp;role&nbsp;you&nbsp;will&nbsp;work with&nbsp;allies, partners, industry, and congress to address economic security and foreign investment risks.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Day to Day&nbsp;Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Track and support engagements with allies, partners, industry, and&nbsp;congress to assess and develop engagement strategies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Deliver recommendations&nbsp;to the U.S., allies, and partners’ governments on how to address economic security and foreign investment risks, to include war gaming activities.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide analytic support, talking points, read ahead material, whitepapers, and other documents to support engagements with and outreach to inter-agency groups, industry, and congress.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support increase partner capability and capacity for economic security and identification and mitigation of foreign investment risk in the&nbsp;DIB, including&nbsp;classified and unclassified information.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s&nbsp;degree&nbsp;</li> <li>5&nbsp;years’&nbsp;relevant&nbsp;strategic engagement&nbsp;experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility/adjudication&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Significant experience&nbsp;in one of the following focus areas: International Affairs, Diplomacy, Economics, Finance, National Security, or Business Administration.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated analytics&nbsp;skills&nbsp;and ability to communicate&nbsp;(oral or written)&nbsp;with senior&nbsp;DoD and&nbsp;USG leaders&nbsp;and&nbsp;experience preparing executive-level briefings and reports&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience preparing&nbsp;and conducting&nbsp;strategic&nbsp;analyses and studies, needs assessments, requirements analysis/definition and cost/benefit analyses to align business systems,&nbsp;solutions&nbsp;and initiatives.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to prepare forecasts,&nbsp;analyze trends, reporting regulations,&nbsp;and business conditions, and&nbsp;identify&nbsp;potential business risks&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience developing&nbsp;and analyzing&nbsp;metrics, performance measurements, requirements,&nbsp;reports&nbsp;and recommendations related to management, organizational structure, policy/procedures&nbsp;and business systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;potential business risks including, but not limited&nbsp;to, business performance, business and economic case analysis, internal control, and enterprise risk assessment.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree in&nbsp;relevant area&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in International Affairs, Diplomacy, Economics, Finance, National Security, or Business Administration&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience&nbsp;operating&nbsp;within the Global Investment and Economic Security Directorate (GIES) or a similar senior, strategic-level staff environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage projects from concept through completion&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="line-height: 1;">&nbsp;</p> <p>In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with ANSER, please call 703-416-2000 or e-mail&nbsp;<a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a></p> <p>ANSER is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
