<p><strong>Department & Position Overview:</strong></p>
<p>The Learning Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging, effective, and innovative training experiences. This role involves facilitating comprehensive learning programs, and developing content. The Learning Specialist will work closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs and create solutions that drive behavior change and support organizational goals. </p>
<ul>
<li>Facilitation: Lead the facilitation of our New Hire, Professional, and Leadership Development programs</li>
<li>Content Development: Design new programming and iterate on existing content to ensure continuous improvement</li>
</ul>
<p>Your role is crucial in shaping the growth and development of our employees, making an impact through effective training and innovative content design.</p>
<p><strong>Every Day You Will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Facilitate and lead diverse training programs, including new hire onboarding, upskilling for tenured employees, and refresher courses</li>
<li>Foster a growth-oriented learning culture that enhances employee performance at all levels</li>
<li>Provide targeted coaching and feedback, develop individualized support plans, and implement action plans to address performance gaps</li>
<li>Design, update, and refine training materials—including presentations, quizzes, and job aids—ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and evidence-based learning strategies</li>
<li>Measure training effectiveness through assessments, progress tracking, and data-driven insights to continuously improve content and delivery methods</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align training initiatives with business objectives and evolving priorities</li>
<li>Reinforce learning through hands-on methods, such as evaluations, shadowing, and one-on-one coaching</li>
<li>Stay ahead of industry trends by integrating cutting-edge training tools, adult learning principles, and emerging best practices</li>
<li>Serve as an interim manager for new hires, providing structured feedback and performance discussions</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Ideal Candidate Will Possess:</strong></p>
<p><strong><em>Educational Background</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as education, communications, or human resources. Equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Experience</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Minimum of three years in a training role</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience with delivering both virtual and in-person training</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience in the education, communications, or HR fields; healthcare industry experience is highly desirable</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience creating multimedia training materials such as PowerPoint presentations and job aids</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and remote training solutions</span><span data-contrast="none"><br></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span data-contrast="none"><strong><em>Technical Skills</em></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams)</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience with virtual conference applications (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Adobe Connect)</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience with Salesforce is a plus</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Telephonic customer-service experience, particularly in healthcare administration</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span data-contrast="none"><strong><em>Competencies</em></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Advanced knowledge and skills in Adult Learning and e-Learning principles, with an ability to stay updated on emerging trends</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Strong coaching skills and emotional intelligence</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Ability to apply adult learning theories effectively and tailor learning solutions to optimize trainee performance</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Exceptional leadership qualities and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment</span></li>
