We are seeking a Temporary Project Manager to join our Project Management team as maternity leave coverage for 6 months. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various projects related to launch planning and supply chain optimization across multiple brands in our portfolio. The primary focus will be ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.  This role is based in NYC and you will be expected in office 3 days a week, at minimum. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Create project timelines and oversee timely execution of all projects, which could include product launches, in-store merchandising, displays, sampling programs, and/or changes to existing items (resourcing projects, cost-savings initiatives, large-scale artwork updates, etc). </li> <li>Actively work in partnership with cross-functional team members and external stakeholders to validate timelines and find solutions to any obstacles to project completion. </li> <li>Clearly communicate and track each project timeline. Any risks should be visible and communicated. </li> <li>Own the critical flow of communication between cross-functional team members on each project, including but not limited to, leading weekly project status meetings with cross-functional teams to track progress, creating agendas and recaps for those meetings, maintaining awareness of upcoming deadlines, sharing updates in project scope, and ensuring a smooth workflow on tight timelines. </li> <li>Hold internal teams accountable for meeting project milestones. </li> <li>Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. </li> <li>Clearly report status, risks, and financial summaries of each project to leadership team as needed for visibility. </li> <li>Obtain quotes directly from suppliers or through cross-functional teams (Packaging, Testing, Logistics) for cost analyses. </li> <li>Work in collaboration with fillers and internal R&D partners on formula development within budget allocated. </li> <li>Keep open and consistent communication with fillers in early stages of new projects to ensure awareness of timelines, packaging, quality expectations, BOMs and fill & assembly instructions. </li> <li>Additional responsibilities to support larger Project Management team as needed. </li> </ul> Qualifications and Requirements  <ul> <li>Experience in the haircare and/or cosmetics is preferred </li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree </li> <li>4-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the beauty industry. </li> <li>Experience in one or more of the following categories is required: hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, fragrance, and home care. </li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required </li> <li>Knowledge of Asana would be a plus </li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to be clear and concise. </li> <li>Solutions-oriented and results-driven. </li> <li>Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. </li> <li>Ability to work independently and with a team. </li> <li>Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed. </li> <li>Ability to work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week. </li> </ul> What We Offer $40/hr - $48/hr.
