As an Assistant Project Manager on a Data Center project, you’ll work closely with project leadership, field crews, clients, and trade partners to help keep work on schedule, support project controls, and contribute to successful project delivery in a fast-paced, highly coordinated environment. Put in your application today and allow Interstates to prove why we are an industry leader in more ways than one. <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Assist the Project Manager and jobsite leadership in managerial and leadership functions on the project</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Support planning, coordination, and execution of work on a Data Center construction project</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Run project control systems for the benefit of the project team</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Develop, maintain, and communicate CPM schedules and milestone updates</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Support Last Planner / White Board crew scheduling and look-ahead planning</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and other project communications</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Act as a project analyst; assess project controls information and assist jobsite leadership in problem-solving and identifying alternate methods to achieve project success</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Provide estimating take-offs and support for analysis, budgeting, and change orders</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Attend client meetings onsite and collaborate with trade contractors, vendors, and internal teams</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Prepare information for and participate in monthly project reviews</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Assist in procurement, expediting materials, and coordinating subcontracts</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Help coordinate documentation and communication related to commissioning, turnover, and project closeout as needed</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Promote the Interstates safety culture daily</li> </ul> <h2>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</h2> <ul> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Able to track and organize projects and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Open to continuously adjusting project systems to plan and deliver projects successfully</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Strong team building, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Comfortable speaking in front of clients, peers, and managers</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Able to manage details, deadlines, and multiple project activities at once</li> <li class="text-start " style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Interest in learning how complex industrial and mission-critical facilities are built and delivered</li> </ul> <h2>Education</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Construction Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management</li> </ul> <h2>Compensation</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">The base pay range for this position is $70,000-$90,000. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
