If this sparks your interest, you’re in the right place.</p></div><p><a href="http://www.dlrgroup.com/">DLR Group</a> has an opening for an Electrical Engineer with a focused skillset on data center projects.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p> <p>The Electrical Engineer for Mission Critical Projects is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical systems for high-performance, technically complex facilities such as data centers, laboratories, clean rooms, and critical infrastructure environments. This role involves collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative, efficient electrical building systems and preparing detailed electrical engineering drawings and calculations.</p> <p><strong>The successful candidate will</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with architects, other engineers, and clients as part of our integrated design process.</li> <li>Create and coordinate documents using Revit.</li> <li>Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.</li> <li>Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.</li> <li>Write and review specifications.</li> <li>Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.</li> <li>Review shop drawings, RFIs and submittals.</li> <li>Conduct site visits when needed.</li> <li>Manage electrical project teams and/or interdisciplinary project teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.&nbsp;</li> <li>10+ years of experience in a MEP or integrated design firm working on&nbsp;Electrical projects designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.</li> <li>5+ years of experience of design experience related to data centers.</li> <li>Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.</li> <li>Working knowledge of the design and construction process and the ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines.</li> <li>Experience with BIM (e.g. Autodesk Revit MEP) work flow.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Licensed Professional Engineer.</li> <li>LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process.</li> <li>Experience and interest in sustainable building design.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Our comprehensive Benefits at DLR Group include medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, flex spending, paid holidays, and paid time off.
