<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">Lunar Energy is looking for an NPI Program Management Intern to support the planning and execution of hardware builds across our development cycle. You'll work hands-on with cross-functional engineering teams, gaining real exposure to how hardware products are built — from early development through validation. This is a great opportunity to build foundational skills in program management and NPI in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.</p>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Support planning and coordination of engineering builds (EVT, DVT, PVT), including tracking parts availability, BOM alignment, and build readiness</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Maintain build trackers, action item logs, and status dashboards to keep teams aligned and on schedule</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Attend engineering and build readiness reviews, capturing notes, open actions, and key decisions</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Track build issues and follow up on defect closure across hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Coordinate scheduling and logistics across internal teams, contract manufacturers, and lab facilities</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Assist with documentation, process improvements, and ad hoc operational tasks for the NPI team</li>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Comfortable communicating with engineers and stakeholders across functions and levels</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Proficient in common productivity and project tracking tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Eagerness to learn hardware development processes, NPI fundamentals, and program management practices</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Prior coursework or internship exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or product development </li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Familiarity with hardware development concepts such as BOMs, ECOs, or build cycles </li>

<p><strong>Our Compensation Philosophy:</strong> Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the hourly range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The hourly range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $30-$40 USD</p>
<p>The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
