This is a <strong>player/coach role</strong> responsible for owning our end-to-end field marketing engine while directly managing a team of two field marketers.</p> <p>You will oversee the execution of <strong>12+ tradeshows and hundreds of field and partner events annually</strong>, driving pipeline, revenue influence, and market presence. This role requires strong operational rigor, cross-functional alignment, and a passion for measurable impact.</p> <p>If you thrive in high-volume execution environments, love building scalable processes, and bring a sharp analytical mindset to marketing performance — this role is for you.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In this role, y</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">ou will also be responsible to:</span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Strategy &amp; Ownership</strong> <ul> <li>Own the global field marketing and tradeshow strategy aligned to revenue targets</li> <li>Build annual and quarterly event plans across tradeshows, hosted events, third-party conferences, partner events, and executive programs</li> <li>Partner closely with Sales leadership to align event investments to territory and account priorities</li> <li>Develop scalable playbooks for event planning, activation, and follow-up</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Execution &amp; Leadership (Player/Coach)</strong> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 field marketing professionals</li> <li>Personally manage high-impact tier-1 tradeshows and strategic events</li> <li>Oversee execution of 12+ major tradeshows annually</li> <li>Drive execution of hundreds of field and partner events per year</li> <li>Ensure seamless coordination across Marketing, Sales, SDRs, Customer Success, and Partners</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Operational Excellence</strong> <ul> <li>Build and manage event budgets with strong ROI discipline</li> <li>Create standardized processes for planning, tracking, and post-event follow-up</li> <li>Implement scalable systems for registration tracking, lead capture, routing, and SLA enforcement</li> <li>Drive pre-event enablement and post-event follow-up rigor across Sales teams</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Data &amp; Performance Management</strong> <ul> <li>Define and track KPIs including: <ul> <li>Pipeline generated and influenced</li> <li>Revenue attribution</li> <li>Cost per opportunity</li> <li>Event ROI</li> <li>Meeting conversion rates</li> </ul> </li> <li>Deliver executive-level reporting and insights</li> <li>Continuously optimize channel mix based on performance data</li> <li>Leverage marketing automation and CRM systems to measure impact</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h1><strong>Requirements</strong></h1> <h3><strong>Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with 4+ years in field marketing or event marketing</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience owning and executing large-scale tradeshows and high-volume field programs</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrated success driving pipeline and revenue through event programs</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience managing budgets and forecasting ROI</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven people manager with experience leading and developing direct reports</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Strong analytical and operational mindset — comfortable working in CRM and marketing automation systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to operate both strategically and tactically</p> </li> <li> <p>Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Highly organized with strong project management capabilities</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong executive presence and comfort presenting performance metrics to leadership</p> </li> <li> <p>Passion for process improvement and scalable systems</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>For candidates based in California, the expected salary range for this role is $150,000–$180,000+ bonus.
