Maintenance Technician - The Rylan Vintage Park - Houston, TX at Davis Development

font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain the physical integrity of the community by ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff maintenance responsibilities.</span></p> <h3 style="line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you will do:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice&nbsp; versa) as circumstances warrant</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services of apartments after move out</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Use expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Create and assist with work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Schedule vendors and contractors/responsible for curb appeal</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ensure all amenities and grounds are finished and ready for review</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Walk move-outs to assess damages/issues and reports results to the Maintenance Supervisor</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you will bring:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Two or more years of experience in related field</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">High school diploma or equivalent required</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-weight: 400;
