Experience a high level of autonomy as you assess and stabilize critically ill or injured patients, performing advanced procedures and ensuring their safe journey to specialized medical facilities. Your Impact: <ul> <li>Provide advanced critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions during air medical transport</li> <li>Assess, stabilize, and manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and pediatric emergencies in flight</li> <li>Perform advanced procedures within paramedic scope</li> <li>Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products per guidelines and established protocols</li> <li>Ensure safety throughout all phases of transport in collaboration with pilot and flight nurse</li> <li>Collaborate closely with flight nurses, pilots, and other professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes during transport</li> <li>Maintains clear and continuous communication with receiving hospitals, pre-hospital care providers, and family members as necessary</li> <li>Participate in pre-flight safety checks, post flight debriefings and maintain equipment readiness</li> <li>Document patient care accurately and support quality improvement initiatives</li> <li>Maintain critical care skills through ongoing training</li> </ul> Your Qualifications: <ul> <li>Current Paramedic license in MN, WI, with critical care endorsement required and preferred ND and MI licensures</li> <li>BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; trauma certifications (TPATC) are encouraged</li> <li>FP-C will be required within 18 months of hire date</li> <li>NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification will be required after hire date</li> <li>FEMA certification for ICS 100, 200</li> <li>A minimum of 3 years of recent (within the last 5 years) critical care of 911 EMS paramedic experience with a focus on high-acuity, critical patient care</li> <li>Prior critical care experience that involved a comprehensive understanding of advanced life support techniques, pharmacological therapies, invasive procedures, and emergency interventions</li> <li>Prior exposure to high-acuity, multi-system trauma, including shock, severe head injuries, and complex cardiac emergencies, is essential</li> <li>Must maintain a flight crew weight of 230 lbs or less, fully dressed in flight required gear</li> <li>Valid driver’s license</li> <li>Ability to maintain airport security access credentials (where applicable)</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Previous flight experience preferred</li> <li>Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations, including neonates, highly preferred</li> </ul> What We Offer: <ul> <li>Base Pay Rate: $34.15 - $40.16 per hour, based on experience</li> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage starting the first of the month following date of hire</li> <li>Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer match</li> <li>401k with employer match fully vested</li> <li>Generous paid leave and paid time off to foster work/life balance</li> <li>Life, disability, critical illness, and accident insurance</li> <li>Tuition/Training reimbursement program</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">Why Join Life Link III?  We are dedicated to making a difference.
