<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The <strong>Facilities Specialist </strong>at the Belle Glade location<strong> </strong>assists in the care and upkeep of all buildings and grounds. The Facilities Specialist cares for the day-to-day maintenance of buildings and grounds, partners with staff, and builds volunteer teams to serve alongside them. All candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, some weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time, hourly (non-exempt) position, working 25 hours per week.</p> <p><strong>JOB DUTIES:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and execute all facilities responsibilities as the dedicated on-site staff member.</li> <li>Lead, develop, and grow facilities volunteer teams, providing training, resources, and encouragement.</li> <li>Build and communicate weekly team schedules to coordinate coverage and support.</li> <li>Oversee and actively participate in setup and tear-down for services, meetings, classrooms, conferences, and special events both on and off campus.</li> <li>Maintain buildings and grounds, including custodial support, minor repairs, and general maintenance.</li> <li>Monitor building conditions regularly and proactively address issues.</li> <li>Respond to work orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion.</li> <li>Safely operate vehicles, power tools, and equipment as needed.</li> <li>Provide logistical support for campus events, including DIESEL, Sisterhood, Easter/Christmas, and CF Conference.</li> <li>Assist with emergency responses and alarm calls as needed.</li> <li>Support and enforce all Christ Fellowship policies, including OSHA regulations and church health and safety guidelines.</li> <li>Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and other facility needs.</li> <li>Perform other tasks and projects assigned by campus leadership or Central Facilities to ensure smooth campus operations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma&nbsp;</li> <li>Associate's Degree or Higher preferred, but not required&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>CERTIFICATION OR LICENSES:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Florida Driver's License</li> <li>CDL preferred but not required</li> <li>OSHA Certifications strongly preferred&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>3 - 5 years of relevant experience&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>JOB SPECS:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Classification: Part-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt), 25 hours per week<br>Reporting to: Campus Pastor</p>
