This role blends tactical media buying expertise with team leadership and client-facing responsibilities. The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external media partners, ensuring operational excellence, strategic alignment, and continual campaign performance improvement.  You will lead campaign development, guide junior staff, and provide senior-level support across a portfolio of accounts, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and driving innovation. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home.  RESPONSIBILITIES: Campaign Tactical Planning & Execution  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Translate media strategies into actionable investment plans aligned with client goals and audience insights</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Review and fine tune media plan recommendations for Director review</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Review and approve buys, authorizations, and placements created by junior team members</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Ensure all campaigns are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Manage the tactical mix of media channels (g., Linear TV, CTV, Digital, Audio, OOH, Social, Programmatic, Influencer, Content, Experiential) depending on campaign needs</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Work with the Planning, Analytics and Biddable team to ensure investments are data-informed and measurable</li> </ul> Client Management & Communication <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a day-to-day junior-level client contact for all campaign-related issues, optimizations, and strategic discussions</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Lead relevant client presentations and status meetings, articulating campaign performance, investment decisions, and recommendations</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Troubleshoot any campaign issues and provide timely resolutions and updates</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Partner with Planning Teams to align media investment with brand objectives and business KPIs</li> </ul> Vendor & Partner Relationships  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and platforms</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead negotiations for optimal rates, value-adds, sponsorships, and inventory packages</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Stay updated on market conditions, media trends, and opportunities for innovation or test-and-learn campaigns</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend new partners or platforms to test</li> </ul> Performance & Reporting  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Oversee and guide the creation of reporting deliverables by junior team members</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Analyze campaign performance data and extract actionable insights</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Lead post-campaign analyses and work with analytics teams to measure ROI, efficiency, and engagement</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Present learnings and optimization plans to internal stakeholders</li> </ul>  Media Buy Financial Stewardship   <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Ensure financial accuracy and timeliness in billing, invoicing, and reconciliation processes</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Track and manage campaign budgets, pacing, and forecasts</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Maintain internal documentation and ensure compliance with agency processes and client contracts (Investment Trackers, Pacing, Dashboards, etc)</li> </ul>  Team Leadership & Development  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Supervise and mentor a team of Assistants and Buyers, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Oversee day-to-day responsibilities of junior staff, ensuring quality control, timeline adherence, and best practices</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Participate in training new team and department members</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Act as a resource for problem-solving, workload balancing, and process improvement</li> </ul>  Qualifications: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">5 years of agency media planning/buying experience </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep understanding of both traditional and digital media channels, pricing models, and performance metrics</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Strong client-service orientation and ability to build trust with senior stakeholders</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Prior experience managing and mentoring junior staff</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Strategic mindset and a passion for media innovation and industry trends</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in tools like Excel, OneStrata, Nielsen, Comscore, Google Campaign Manager, and Excel; High-level understanding of Social platforms and DSPs</li> </ul> Salary range $80 – $95k.
