Throughout your tenure, you will be focused on mastering team management and moving into firm leadership. Successful Managers provide project oversight required to meet client expectations, along with big-picture strategic direction on engagements. While we focus on the life sciences industry, you will learn business &amp; strategy foundations that can be applied broadly throughout your career.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Daily &amp; Monthly Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Technical &amp; Content Advisor</em></strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Provides sound guidance to project teams and leadership, leveraging strong analytical thinking skills and content knowledge</li> <li>Begins to develop specific expertise, based on experience, project work, and interest</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Product Content &amp; Delivery</em></strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Fully owns the development &amp; delivery of high quality, rigorously QC’d, and well organized content</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Manages Operations, Processes, &amp; BD Support</em></strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Supervises day-to-day operations, brainstorming with leadership to identify future strategic opportunities</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>People Management</em></strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Supports the development of 1-5 junior team members</li> <li>Monitors performance, provides timely &amp; specific feedback, identifies individuals’ needs, and provides coaching &amp; training</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>A problem-solver who distills complex information into actionable recommendations that effectively addresses the client’s needs</li> <li>An innovator who identifies opportunities to build upon current work (including novel analytic methodologies, business frameworks, etc.)</li> <li>A navigator of uncertainty who remains adaptable, curious, and open to learning</li> <li>A coach who invests in the growth of team members through trainings and other learning &amp; development activities</li> <li>A people leader who creates a climate in which people are engaged and want to do their best</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum job requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>6+ years of work experience in consulting, data analytics, or other relevant areas within the life sciences</li> <li>An advanced degree or educational experience is highly desired</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication and quantitative skills, and a team contributor</li> <li>An interest in and desire to learn about the constantly evolving healthcare industry</li> <li>Good project management, time management, and organizational skills</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Exceptional literacy in Excel and PowerPoint</li> <li>Understand analytics, analytical approaches, and how to interpret and enhance data analytics created by junior staff</li> <li>A willingness or ability to travel as needed (20% on average)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation-Manager &nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Your expected annual compensation for this level for base and bonus is between $198,000 and $214,000. In addition to your base salary and annual bonus, employer 401k match, and significant performance incentive awards which occur at time of promotion.
