<p>Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of <strong>Outside Sales Representative</strong> in our Sacramento location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. <p><strong>JOB STATEMENT</strong><br>The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for executing the yearly sales growth targets for <strong>equipment, parts, services, and rentals</strong> for Construction, Aggregates, and Industrial customers within the assigned territory. This role requires high collaboration with other Kimball Equipment resources during day-to-day business development and implementation of customer-specific sales strategies. While industry experience is a plus, it is not required. We place a strong emphasis on drive, salesmanship, and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers at every organizational level.</p>

<p><strong>JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Execute sales growth plans for <strong>equipment, spares, wears, services, and rentals</strong> within the assigned territory by creating opportunities and generating sales from existing and new accounts. Continuous face-to-face contact with customers is required.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with inside sales and other local resources to analyze market potential and assist in developing strategies that drive market share growth.</li>
<li>Develop a clear understanding of customer spend on <strong>equipment, parts, and services</strong> related to installed base within the territory; document and communicate this information to location and headquarters management.</li>
<li>Provide timely and accurate information for pricing strategies aimed at increasing competitiveness and driving business growth.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain a strong company image through exceptional customer service, professional business attitude, up-to-date product knowledge, and thorough understanding of customer operations, needs, and challenges.</li>
<li>Identify <strong>new equipment sales opportunities</strong> and forward details to the Equipment Sales team promptly. Assist with introductions to appropriate customer contacts and participate in projects and opportunities as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain a personal portfolio of technical sales materials such as equipment manuals, drawings, and product presentations to support customers, develop solutions, and promote products.</li>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to travel frequently, including occasional overnight trips to local and remote areas.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, detail-oriented, and action-driven.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li>
<li>Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Physically able to climb structures, ladders, and scaffolds at job sites, inspect equipment, and safely work around crushers, screens, and conveyors.</li>
<li>Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds occasionally.</li>
<li>Effective verbal communication skills and a valid driver’s license required.</li>
<li>Industry experience in aggregates or related fields is a plus, but not required. We value qualities such as drive, salesmanship, and cognitive abilities, and consider them alongside industry experience to ensure the right fit for this position.</li>
