Join us and discover what it means to work for a company that truly values its people.  </div>Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Specialist to play a key role in helping clients navigate environmental regulations and maintain compliance across air, water, and waste programs. This position offers hands-on involvement in preparing permits, performing technical analyses, developing compliance plans, and delivering impactful training programs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working directly with clients, managing multiple projects, and applying environmental expertise to real-world challenges. Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Preparation of various regulatory permit applications (e.g. air permits, stormwater permits, wastewater, hazardous waste, etc.) </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support ongoing compliance to air, stormwater, hazardous materials, and waste compliance regulations and permits through the performance of emissions calculations, emission statements, stormwater sampling and reporting, hazardous and residual waste tracking and reporting</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">EPCRA reporting (e.g. Tier II and TRI), etc.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare technical documents and reports including assessments, audits, emergency spill plans (SPCC, PPC, SWPPP), stack test protocols and reports, etc.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform technical regulatory research and technical calculations;</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Present effective employee and supervisory training programs to clients</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve clients as a technical lead and face-to-face representative</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">B.S. Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is required</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">1 or more years of progressive and relevant course work and/or work experience</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong project management skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong analytical and evaluation skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to plan and organize initiatives to meet predetermined target dates and deadlines</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent customer service and follow-up skills and behaviors</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated knowledge of environmental client concerns</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated knowledge of relevant environmental regulations (i.e. EPA, DOT, State)</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to travel both locally and regionally</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point</li> </ul>   Physical Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to stand, walk, and conduct training or site inspections for extended periods.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Comfortable working in industrial facilities or field environment and various weather conditions when needed.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Capable of lifting training materials and equipment (up to 30 lbs).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or regionally up to 50% of the time.</li> </ul> Other Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Background check and potential drug screening required for the position</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Residence within a reasonable commuting distance</li> </ul> This job description is subject to change at any time.
