Test Engineer at GRVTY

<p class="x_elementToProof">Are you a skilled and experienced test engineer who loves to ensure the quality and reliability of software products?&nbsp;</p> <p class="x_elementToProof"><strong>What You’ll Be Owning:</strong></p> <ul> <li>As a test engineer, you will be responsible for: Creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on the software requirements and specifications.</li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Performing functional, non-functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li>Reporting, tracking, and resolving software defects and issues using bug tracking tools such as Jira and GitLab.</li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Supporting&nbsp; multiple development teams and tools.</div> </li> </ul> <p class="x_elementToProof"><strong>What You Must Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Active TS/SCI with an ability to obtain a polygraph</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">At least 3 years of functional/system-level software testing, working in Linux environments.</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Strong Linux command line proficiency. Including but not limited to ensuring software stability, performance, requirements validation, and forensics characterization.</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Experience in creation and administration of virtual machines and docker containers</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Analytical trouble shooting skills.</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Work directly with the development team to understand software requirements and define test plans and test cases from the ground up.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Desire to work in a dynamic small team environment supporting multiple and disparate development efforts at the same time.</div> </li> </ul> <p class="x_elementToProof"><strong>What Would Be Nice to Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">A strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices.</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Scripting with Bash, Python</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Computer networking knowledge - wireshark, tcpdump</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Linux-based software build systems - make, cmake, gcc</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Debugging tools in Linux - gdb, valgrind, gprof, strace</div> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>#LI-PS1</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p id="isPasted"><strong>Why Choose GRVTY</strong></p> <hr> <p>The toughest national security challenges demand vision and ingenuity, not just resources.
