This role ensures accurate material handling, production of finished goods, order fulfillment, cleanliness, and adherence to company safety policies.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Primary responsibilities include:</strong></em></span></p> <ul> <li>Active contributor and leader of Hydrite’s Safety Vision, Mission and Values.</li> <li>Provides consistent, safety-focused support for all shipping, receiving, and operational functions.</li> <li>Receive incoming materials and verify contents and quantities against purchase orders.</li> <li>Load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment.</li> <li>Inspect, package, stretch-wrap, and band shipments to ensure proper labeling and secure transport.</li> <li>Prepare and document outgoing shipments.</li> <li>Unload bulk raw materials and intermediates into designated storage or packaging areas.</li> <li>Pull inventory for customer orders based on pick tickets.</li> <li>Store finished goods and raw materials.</li> <li>Obtain product samples for Quality Control testing.</li> <li>Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.</li> <li>Assist production with routine maintenance.</li> <li>Clean and sanitize equipment.</li> <li>Operate equipment to mix and process raw materials.</li> <li>Package and weigh raw materials and finished goods.</li> <li>Maintain clean work areas using appropriate equipment.</li> <li>Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.</li> <li>Operate digital scales accurately.</li> <li>Follow company safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with team members.</li> <li>Perform other tasks as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REPORTING STRUCTURE</strong></p> <ul> <li>This position reports to the Production Manager.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred</li> <li>Previous chemical manufacturing experience recommended.</li> <li>Ability to operate a forklift.</li> <li>Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, previous ERP experience a plus.</li> <li>Ability to follow instructions and work independently.</li> <li>Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit, stand, and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day.</li> <li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, frequently.</li> <li>Able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 50 feet on occasion.</li> <li>Able to perform manual dexterity tasks.</li> <li>Ability to work in confined spaces.</li> <li>Must be able to work in an un-cooled warehouse facility where temperatures may reach 100° Fahrenheit.</li> <li>Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching.</li> <li>Able to wear a hairnet and beard net, if applicable, with a hard hat.</li> <li>No exposed jewelry in body piercings when in a GMP production area.</li> <li>Due to safety concerns, the wearing of contact lenses is prohibited.</li> <li>Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day.
