About the Role

Position Summary The Advisor Platform Specialist serves as a primary liaison between Focus advisory teams and key WealthTech platform support teams, including portfolio accounting, financial planning, and client engagement platforms. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day platform usage, assisting with issue resolution, and helping ensure advisors have a consistent, high-quality technology experience. The Associate partners closely with internal teams, vendors, and advisory stakeholders to support platform adoption, data accuracy, and ongoing enhancements. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-minded, and excited to build deep expertise across the WealthTech ecosystem while contributing to an exceptional advisor experience. Our preference is to have someone work in St. Louis 3 days/week. However, we are open to having someone work Remotely with light travel if they meet all the qualifications.   Key Responsibilities WealthTech Platform Support & Advisor Enablement <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Serve as a primary contact point between WealthTech platform support teams and Focus advisory teams for questions, issues, and general support.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Respond to advisor inquiries, troubleshoot basic platform issues, and escalate more complex items to senior team members or vendors as needed.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide baseline training to advisors on WealthTech platforms, including platform navigation, core functionality, and standard workflows.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Curate, maintain, and improve training materials (guides, job aids, FAQs, recordings) to support consistent advisor onboarding and ongoing education.</li> </ul> Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Work collaboratively with internal partners (Advisor Development, Integration, Operations, and Technology) to support platform-related initiatives.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Coordinate with external vendors to log issues, track resolutions, and follow up on open items.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support testing and validation efforts related to platform enhancements, integrations, or data changes.</li> </ul> Platform Improvement & Product Support <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Identify areas of improvement and efficiency within each WealthTech platform by analyzing advisor feedback, recurring issues, and usage trends.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Contribute to process improvements that enhance advisor experience, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Help communicate platform updates, enhancements, and known issues to advisory teams in a clear and consistent manner.</li> </ul>   Required Qualifications <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">1–3 years of experience in financial services, operations, technology support, product support, or a related role.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Clear written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Comfort working with technology platforms and learning new systems quickly.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Familiarity with WealthTech platforms such as Orion, MoneyGuide, eMoney, InvestCloud, or similar financial technology tools.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience supporting advisors, clients, or internal stakeholders in a platform or systems-focused role.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Interest in process improvement, systems thinking, or technology enablement. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Familiarity with wealth management or financial planning concepts.</li> </ul> Core Competencies <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Advisor-focused mindset with a passion for improving advisor experience</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong organizational and follow-through skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborative team player comfortable working across functions</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Analytical thinker who can connect issues to root causes</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Adaptability in a fast-changing technology environment</li> </ul>   This position is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $50,000-$60,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
