Our programs produce job-ready graduates who are prepared to contribute from day one.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>The Career Success Coach (CSC) will play a key role in ensuring the success of learners in Correlation One’s world-class data training and jobs programs. The CSC will work alongside a team of Teaching Assistants and Correlation One program operations staff to provide professional development coaching support to a cohort of learners. This contract will be from&nbsp;<strong>June 2 - November 12, 2026</strong>.</p> <p><strong>The ideal candidate is:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Passionate about mission-driven project work and prioritizing exceptional stakeholder outcomes</li> <li>An empathetic, strong communicator, able to advise learners about how to achieve their career goals</li> <li>A collaborative team player who is eager to develop new career advising strategies and program engagement initiatives to support learner success</li> <li>Organized and a strong project manager who can keep big-picture goals top of mind</li> </ul> <p><strong>Role responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>The CSC will have 4 main focus areas detailed below:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct 1:1 coaching meetings [Up to 6hr / wk]</li> <ul> <li>Offer 4-6 hours of office hours availability per week. This is equivalent to up to 12 30-minute (or less) meetings per week, with a max of 8 hours weekly. Your office hour availability is largely determined by you, with the expectation that you are working with learners to find mutually available times as-needed</li> </ul> <li>Share regular updates with PD team [1hr / wk]</li> <ul> <li>Weekly asynchronous updates serve as an opportunity for CSCs to celebrate wins, discuss specific learners for support and guidance, and share relevant announcements and updates.</li> <li>Bi-weekly pod meetings [45min] serve as a time for more in-depth check-in, updates on current program priorities, and CSC collaboration</li> </ul> <li>Learner engagement, interaction tracking, and job search progress [Up to 2hr / wk]</li> <ul> <li>Track notes from 1:1 coaching meetings related to learner job search progress, ~5 minutes / meeting</li> <li>Monthly, update the job search status for every learner in your cohort, ~ 1 hour / month</li> <li>Reply to all Slack and email communication within 24 hours, ~ 1 hour / week</li> </ul> <li>Providing resume and LinkedIn profile feedback [Up to 2.5hr / wk]</li> <ul> <li>Provide feedback via standardized rubrics on 3 exercise throughout program [10min / learner / exercise]</li> <ul> <li>Exercise 2 - Resume draft</li> <li>Exercise 3 - LinkedIn profile</li> <li>Exercise 4 - Resume final</li> </ul> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent experience</li> <li>2+ years of professional experience, ideally in career development or coaching, professional counseling, or related program management focused on job seekers</li> <li>Outstanding, executive-ready written and verbal communication skills in English</li> <li>&nbsp;Experience developing trusting relationships and effective guidance to adult learners and/or job seekers</li> <li>Experience delivering career coaching in an entirely remote format</li> <li>An affinity for communicating with others in an empathetic and considerate manner</li> <li>Strong work ethic, ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision</li> <li>Proactive problem-solver, high attention to detail, and a quick learner</li> <li>High level of technical proficiency and comfortable adapting to new tools and technologies with ease</li> <li>Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack</li> <li>Strong local job-market knowledge in cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.&nbsp;</li> <li>Understanding of Australia’s vocational pathways (TAFE/VET),&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with local hiring norms and job search channels (Seek, LinkedIn, typical resume expectations) and skills-based hiring trends in tech</li> <li>Experience in the following areas a plus: university career services, TAFE/workforce programs, tech bootcamps, or technical recruiting,</li> </ul> <p><strong>Correlation One’s Commitment&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Correlation One is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
