We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The EE Architecture – Domain Architect is responsible to define the optimized portfolio of architecture&nbsp; solutions for a specific domain/subsystem (e.g. ADAS, Infotainment, Chassis, etc) working with subsystem and component owners of the domain.</li> <li>Expertise in the Domain is required to be effective in this&nbsp; position along with overall vehicle electrical architecture knowledge.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsibility to define the overall architecture strategy for the Domain</li> <li>Define portfolio of Architecture solutions for the Domain (all Archetypes)</li> <li>Discuss/Resolve CRs impacting the Domain for all architecture additions/changes</li> <li>Create Long Term plans for the Domain (Technology Roadmaps) along with subsystem teams</li> <li>Ensure commonality / consistency of interfaces/solutions for Client.</li> <li>Physical &amp; Functional Partitioning and Allocation of features and functions in order to meet&nbsp; systems/subsystem performance requirements, plus cybersecurity and functional safety requirements</li> <li>Create mechanizations / schematics for subsystem domains</li> <li>Create topology/functional diagrams showing data exchange/interactions between the components and&nbsp; systems</li> <li>Drive Interfaces Standardization for the Domain / Subsystem</li> <li>Stay abreast of new technologies and solutions for the domain</li> <li>Oversee the Functional System Design modeling following the allocation decisions</li> <li>Oversee Network &amp; Diagnostics system design following the allocation decisions.</li> <li>Work with the hardware team to provide requirements for microcontrollers, memory and/or&nbsp; communication chipsets to support the physical/functional allocation decisions.</li> <li>Relentlessly drive to early life cycle delivery through an agile approach.</li> <li>Develop a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.</li> <li>Willing to take action and drive results.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of industry experience in EE Architecture design, Electrical Engineering architecture roles or&nbsp; System/Subsystem designs.</li> <li>Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.</li> <li>Experience in defining and designing large complex embedded networked computer systems including&nbsp; definition of system topologies, components, and interfaces.</li> <li>Good knowledge/experience in Network Communication Design: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and Ethernet&nbsp; protocols.</li> <li>Good knowledge/experience in Automotive Ethernet based communication protocols: Audio Video&nbsp; Bridging (AVB); Time Sensitive Networking (TSN); Service Oriented approach (SOME/IP); TCP/UDP; MQTT.</li> <li>Good knowledge on off-board communication protocols (WiFi, 4G/5G, V2X connectivity).</li> <li>Deep understanding of typical vehicle EE architectures and automotive development processes.</li> <li>Experience to establish a professional network within the ecosystem of automotive suppliers, and&nbsp; technology companies such as: Computer system technology companies; International Standard&nbsp; Committees (ISO, IEEE), Semiconductor vendors; Start-up companies.</li> <li>Strong systems thinker.</li> <li>Fluency in English is required, any other European language is an advantage.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master or PHD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.</li> <li>Designed EE platforms or components for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).</li> <li>Track record experience with the design and requirements of the following complex automotive domains:&nbsp; ADAS/AD; Body; Cockpit; Connectivity, Powertrain, and Power Distribution.</li> <li>Experience using networking tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, PREEvision.</li> <li>AUTOSAR process/tools know-how and application experience.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in EE Systems or EE Architecture R&amp;D.</li> <li>Exhibits excellent, clear, and detail-oriented written and verbal communications on highly complex topics.</li> <li>Client EE Architecture roadmap</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
