Responsible for coordinating a patient’s overall health care by communicating with specialists who provide more advanced treatments.</p> <p><strong>Highlights</strong></p> <ul> <li>Report to clinical leadership</li> <li>Value-Based Care Model</li> <li>Over 20 clinic locations in Texas</li> <li>100% outpatient primary care clinic setting seeing patients 18+</li> <li>Dedicated Medical Assistant and additional clinic support team</li> <li>Monday – Friday schedule (some clinics have extended hours)</li> <li>Limited Call (compensated)</li> <li>Telehealth available for patients</li> <li>Guaranteed base salary with annual bonus program</li> <li>Monthly compensation for supervising nurse practitioners</li> <li>CME hours annually</li> <li>401K with company matching</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Sign-On Bonus eligible</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Providing high-quality healthcare to patients, including listening to and properly diagnosing patients’ medical concerns and ailments&nbsp;</li> <li>Conducting initial assessments of patients to learn about their medical history, their health goals, and any potential health risks&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for acute and chronic conditions&nbsp;</li> <li>Ordering lab tests and imaging studies, prescribing medications, and providing other treatment modalities such as physical therapy or massage therapy&nbsp;</li> <li>Diagnosing illnesses through physical examinations, medical tests, and analysis of patient histories&nbsp;</li> <li>Prescribe medications, treatments, diets, or other care plans to maintain health or alleviate symptoms of disease or injury&nbsp;</li> <li>May supervise nurse practitioner(s) - additional monthly pay per direct report</li> <li>Refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment</li> <li>Punctually arrives to the clinic to ensure that patients are seen at scheduled appointment times.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required.</li> <li>Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.</li> <li>Practicing physician in a clinic or urgent care setting, with supervision experience.</li> <li>Bilingual in English &amp; Spanish is preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Certifications &amp; Licenses:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>A state license to practice medicine in Texas.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><div>As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we welcome and employ a diverse employee group committed to meeting the needs of NeueHealth, our consumers, and the communities we serve.
