The role involves translating business needs into functional requirements, supporting data and technology initiatives, and driving transformation programs across global markets businesses.</p> <p><br><strong>Responsibilities Include</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with front-office, middle-office, and operations teams across capital markets (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX).</li> <li>Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and use cases.</li> <li>Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.</li> <li>Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement walkthroughs.</li> <li>Drive deep insights and analysis, beyond the obvious, to add business value</li> <li>Adhere to delivery, quality metrics and internal governance</li> <li>Work independently with minimal supervision</li> <li>This role will require working on multiple engagements in parallel&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.</li> <li>Strong understanding of one or more asset classes</li> <ul> <li>Equities</li> <li>Fixed Income</li> <li>Derivatives</li> <li>FX</li> </ul> <li>Good understanding of trade lifecycle and capital markets operations.</li> <li>Experience with requirement documentation and stakeholder management.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL, Python and R to any data analysis tools preferred.</li> <li>Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.<br>Highly analytical with the ability to collate, analyze and present data and drive clear and actionable insights</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize conflicting requirements.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Capital Markets Domain Support</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Work on initiatives across:</li> <ul> <li>Trade lifecycle (order → execution → clearing → settlement)</li> <li>Risk &amp; PnL reporting</li> <li>Regulatory reporting (MiFID, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, etc.)</li> <li>Client onboarding, KYC, collateral, and margin</li> <li>Market and reference data</li> </ul> <li>Support front-office analytics, trading workflows, and reporting needs.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Data &amp; Technology</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams on:</li> <ul> <li>Data mapping, lineage, and reconciliation</li> <li>Source-to-target mapping</li> <li>Data quality and validation</li> </ul> <li>Support data-driven initiatives such as dashboards, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.</li> <li>Work with tools such as SQL, Excel, Python (nice to have), JIRA, Confluence.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Delivery &amp; Execution</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.</li> <li>Support UAT planning, test case creation, and defect tracking.</li> <li>Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies.</li> <li>Work in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred / Nice to Have</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience with market data platforms (Bloomberg, Refinitiv).</li> <li>Knowledge of risk systems, PnL, or regulatory reporting.</li> <li>Exposure to data/AI initiatives in capital markets.</li> <li>Agile certifications or prior consulting experience.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience working in consulting/client-facing roles</li> <li>Ability to support pre-sales, proposals, and solution workshops</li> <li>Exposure to data/AI transformation in capital markets<br><br></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Note:</strong></p> <blockquote class="gmail_quote"><em>By submitting your application, you consent to being contacted by our Talent Acquisition team via phone call, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other communication channels regarding your application and relevant career opportunities.</em></blockquote> <p></p></div>
