We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, multi‑axis machines, grinders, EDM, and manual equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime</li> <li>Read and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, and advanced GD&amp;T</li> <li>Perform complex offsets, tool compensation, and program adjustments to maintain tight tolerances</li> <li>Manufacture precision components to tolerances of .0001" or better with minimal supervision</li> <li>Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and material issues and implement corrective actions</li> <li>Recommend and execute process, tooling, and programming improvements</li> <li>Partner with Tool Design to develop fixtures, jigs, and custom tooling</li> <li>Conduct in‑process and final inspections using precision measurement equipment</li> <li>Share knowledge and best practices to support team development</li> <li>Adhere to safety, quality, and 5S workplace standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>AA/AS degree or equivalent technical training with 8+ years of relevant machining experience</li> <li>Advanced expertise in CNC and manual machining and programming</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of GD&amp;T and precision measurement</li> <li>Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical problems</li> <li>High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience</li> <li>Machining certifications or advanced technical education</li> <li>Tool and die or specialized machining background</li> <li>Experience with continuous improvement methodologies</li> <li>Strong communication and mentoring skills</li> </ul> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Note:</strong> Due to the nature of the work, only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply for this position.</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
