You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.  This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class B commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.  Triumvirate Environmental provides leading organizations in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors with diverse services and expertise to assist them with compliance management. This role is onsite and is based in Newington.  We invite you to watch this video <a href="https://vimeo.com/983310289?share=copy">CLICK HERE</a>  to discover more about the exciting job responsibilities of a CDL Driver at Triumvirate Environmental.  Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to 24’ box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. </li> <li>Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.  </li> <li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.  </li> <li>Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.  </li> <li>Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately. </li> <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.  </li> <li>Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.  </li> <li>Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials. </li> <li>Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills. </li> </ul> Basic Requirements:  <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li> <li>Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.  </li> <li>Active Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain one.</li> <li>Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required.</li> <li>Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.  </li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  </li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  </li> <li>Must have a reliable form of transportation. </li> <li>Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC). </li> <li>Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. </li> <li>Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis. </li> <li>Perform warehouse duties as needed on an occasional basis.</li> <li>Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday). </li> <li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.</li> </ul> Preferred Requirements:  <ul> <li>Previous experience in environmental services or related field. </li> </ul> #LI-Onsite  Besides Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, we contribute to a 401k, offer a generous tuition reimbursement program, TONS of safety training for some positions with opportunities for external trainings and certifications, Mentorship & Career Succession Planning, Relocation Opportunities, Auto/Home insurance discounts, pet assistance discount plans, discounted movie passes & more!    To learn more about our business, culture, and the exciting work that we are doing in the industry, find us on <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/triumvirate-environmental/posts/?feedView=all">LinkedIn, </a>Instagram (@triumvirateenvironmental), or our <a href="https://www.triumvirate.com/">website</a>!   Triumvirate Environmental is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
