As a Survey Office Technician, you’ll work with cutting-edge survey technology, collaborate closely with project teams and contractors, and help mentor and develop survey staff while keeping projects moving safely, accurately, and on schedule.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Lead and support construction staking, boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in both field and office work.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare construction staking data and alignments for field crews using Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Import, process, and export survey data collected from or for use&nbsp;in&nbsp;GPS, conventional, and scanning technologies.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Perform quality control checks on survey data&nbsp;collected&nbsp;utilizing&nbsp;conventional, GPS,&nbsp;and scanning technologies, in addition to&nbsp;construction staking deliverables.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Coordinate survey crew scheduling, equipment tracking, and day-to-day field operations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Train and mentor survey crew chiefs and staff in survey methods, equipment use, safety, and AKS standards.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <h2>Who You Are</h2> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">You have at least 5 years of experience as a construction staking crew chief.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">You bring a strong working knowledge of land surveying principles, survey control, construction surveying, and map preparation.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">You are proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and comfortable working&nbsp;in&nbsp;Trimble Business Center.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">You have hands-on experience with modern survey equipment, including Trimble total stations, GNSS receivers, scanners, and data collectors.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">You’re&nbsp;organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">You have a valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean driving record.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <h2>Nice to Have</h2> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Associate’s&nbsp;or&nbsp;Bachelor’s&nbsp;degree in Land Surveying or&nbsp;a related&nbsp;field.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Land Survey Intern (LSI) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience with Faro scanners and Faro Scene software.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience with Trimble Access, SX10/SX12 scanners, and Dini levels.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Interest&nbsp;in researching and implementing new survey technologies.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2>Why AKS?</h2> <p>At AKS, we believe your work should support your life, not the other way around.
