As a Facility Technician, you will be able to work closely with the Facility Supervisor and be involved with nearly every aspect of facility waste management. This is a unique role that will give you exposure to RCRA and DOT compliance, technical services, transportation, solid disposal coordination, ten-day transfer of hazardous waste and universal waste management. This role is onsite in our Orlando, FL facility.  Essential responsibilities and duties include: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Waste and document preparation; regulatory and safety review</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Load & unload incoming & outgoing trucks</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Waste inventory management through the use of Triumvirate designed software and computerized waste tracking system</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Become familiar with packaging guidelines and disposal facility selection</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices, Triumvirate’s Part B permit, and EPA regulations</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Communicate effectively with end facilities as well as fellow employees to solve complex issues</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Demonstrate supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkers</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop respect and working relationship with coworkers</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Demonstrate the ability to be creative and solve unique problems</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">WOW! internal and external customers!</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work as a team player</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Become forklift trained and be able to safely operate machinery</li> </ul> Basic Requirements:  <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">High School Degree</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Basic knowledge of or desire to learn hazardous waste field through</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Successful completion of OSHA/DOT physical examination</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Become fit tested for a respirator and be comfortable wearing respirator for multiple hours a week</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must have a reliable form of transportation </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work overtime on a regular basis  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">The Facility Technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
