The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment and systems within our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure the smooth operation of critical equipment. With a passion for quality, environmental health and safety (QEH&S), you will enhance a high performing team to produce best-in-class biotechnology products.   Essential Functions <ul> <li>Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and systems according to established procedures and schedules, including but not limited to: <ul> <li>HVAC systems (including cleanroom HVAC)</li> <li>Pumps, valves, and piping systems</li> <li>Electrical panels and distribution systems</li> <li>Compressed air systems</li> <li>Packaging, milling, and other automated machinery</li> </ul> </li> <li>Respond to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions promptly, diagnose problems, and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.</li> <li>Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of new and existing equipment.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and calibration records.</li> <li>Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li> <li>Perform or coordinate the calibration of critical equipment and instruments.</li> <li>Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.</li> <li>Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.</li> <li>Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) as applicable.</li> </ul>   Competencies Knowledge & Application <ul> <li>Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.</li> <li>Knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, PLC systems, and control systems is a plus.</li> </ul> Complexity & Problem Solving <ul> <li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot and identify complicated problems</li> <li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.</li> </ul> Collaboration & Interaction <ul> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.</li> <li>Strong commitment to safety.</li> </ul>   Supervisory Responsibilities: No   Work Environment <ul> <li>Actively working on the production floor contucting maintenance routines and working on equipment</li> <li>Job will involve some office and computer-based work for record keeping</li> <li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.</li> <li>Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.</li> <li>Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)</li> </ul>   Travel Required: 0%   Required Education & Experience <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field strongly preferred.</li> <li>3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related industry.</li> </ul>   Must be authorized to work in the United States.   What We Offer <ul> <li>Competitive package in a disruptive startup </li> <li>Stock options </li> <li>Health/Dental/Vision insurance with employer-paid premiums </li> <li>Life, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability policies </li> <li>Employee Assistance Program with free referrals and discounts </li> <li>401(k) plan, 3% Match </li> <li>Commuter benefits </li> <li>Annual Training & Development support </li> <li>Flexible vacation policy with a generous holiday schedule </li> <li>Exciting opportunity to work with a talented and fun team</li> </ul>   #LI-Onsite<div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Hiring Compensation Range</div><div class="pay-range">$38.46—$38.46 USD</div></div></div>
