Outpatient Psychiatrist (Remote) at Backpack Healthcare

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled <strong>Psychiatrist</strong> to join our supportive and collaborative team in a flexible part-time role.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">This opportunity includes working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing comprehensive psychiatric care across all stages of life in a welcoming outpatient setting.</p> <h3>Position Overview</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">✔️ Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments<br>✔️ Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and more<br>✔️ Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations<br>✔️ Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, schools, families, and other healthcare professionals<br>✔️ Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed<br>✔️ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia state regulations<br>✔️ Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations<br>✔️ Stay current on the latest developments in psychiatric care and treatment approaches</p> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">✅ MD or DO from an accredited medical school<br>✅ Completed residency in Psychiatry<br>✅ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry<br>✅ Active Georgia medical license&nbsp;<br>✅ DEA license for Georgia<br>✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br>✅ Passion for working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan</p> <h3>Preferred Experience</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">✔️ Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings<br>✔️ Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and electronic health records (EHR)<br>✔️ Bilingual candidates (especially Spanish-speaking) are encouraged to apply</p> <h3>Schedule</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">✨ Flexible Part-Time Hours (15–22 hours/week)<br>Afternoon/evening availability a must!<br>Optional weekend hours available based on patient demand</p> <h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">💵 Competitive Fee-for-Service Hourly Compensation<br>Malpractice insurance coverage provided<br>📚 CME reimbursement&nbsp;<br>🤝 Supportive and collaborative clinical environment<br>Flexible scheduling with strong work-life balance</p> <p>Join a practice where your expertise can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families every day.</p> <p><em>Backpack Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
