Just as importantly, we ensure every employee feels deeply connected to our mission and one another.</p> <p>With over $55B in insured assets, Honeycomb operates across 20+ major states, covering 60% of the U.S. population and increasing its coverage.</p> <p>If you’re looking for a place where innovation is celebrated, culture actually means something, and smart people challenge you to be better every day - Honeycomb might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.</p></div><h3>&nbsp;What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Own full-stack feature development from ideation to production, including architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment</li> <li>Make independent tradeoff decisions, balancing speed, scale, maintainability, and user value</li> <li>Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to align on priorities, timelines, and technical solutions</li> <li>Working through ambiguity by framing constraints, narrowing options, and proposing actionable solutions</li> <li>Deliver clear technical outcomes and help translate them into measurable business impact</li> </ul> <h3>Basic Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in full-stack development, primarily in Node.js and a front-end framework like Angular (preferred), React, or Vue</li> <li>Proven experience shipping features in SaaS or product-led environments, including prioritization, tradeoffs, and iteration</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field</li> <li>Strong ownership mindset: ability to identify opportunities, drive solutions, and close the loop</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience working in a NoSQL database such as MongoDB</li> <li>Experience with TypeScript</li> <li>Experience with a design tool such as Figma</li> <li>Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker deployment</li> <li>Experience with Firebase Services like Functions, Storage and Authentication</li> <li>Experience with logging services such as Datadog or Splunk</li> </ul>
