Our culture rewards accountability and cross functional teamwork because we believe this enables the kind of breakthrough thinking that will accelerate our mission.</span></p></div><p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Scientist I to join the Technology Access Program (TAP) team and support the execution of client-sponsored research projects. This is a laboratory-based role with a primary focus on assay set-up and execution, sample preparation, next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows, operation of laboratory instrumentation, and data quality review. </span></p>
<p><br><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on laboratory skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to consistently execute established experimental workflows in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Experience with molecular biology, multiplex assays, and NGS workflows is highly desirable. The Associate Scientist will work closely with other TAP team members to ensure high-quality data generation, support data review and enable timely completion of client projects. </span></p>
<p><br><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong>: </span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Execute multiplex assay workflows, including sample preparation, assay set-up, and operation of laboratory instrumentation according to established SOPs</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Support routine NGS workflows, including library preparation, sequencing run preparation and instrument set-up</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Support data analysis and quality checks, including review of sequencing QC metrics and experimental outcomes</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain accurate experimental records and laboratory documentation to ensure sample traceability</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Support sample receiving, organization, inventory, and storage as needed</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with other team members to coordinate laboratory activities and meet project timelines</span></li>
</ul>
<p><br><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Requirements</strong>:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">1+ years of relevant hands-on laboratory experience in a biotechnology, research, clinical or similar laboratory environment is required</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to accurately execute multi-step laboratory procedures, interpret data, and perform routine troubleshooting</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with sequencing and assay QC metrics is preferred </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $97,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
