<p data-path-to-node="8">We are seeking a highly skilled <strong data-path-to-node="8" data-index-in-node="32">Group Financial Accountant</strong> to join and support our expanding Finance function. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the management accounts process, deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting, and provide critical support to our leadership teams.</p>
<p data-path-to-node="9">This is a senior, hands-on position ideally suited to a proactive professional with strong analytical capabilities and exceptional organizational skills. You should thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, project-based environments. The role is offered as hybrid working.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Close Process Coordination:</strong> Act as the central point of coordination during the month-end close; perform bespoke reviews and analyses to maintain accuracy across all group entities.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Tax & Compliance:</strong> Manage corporate tax provisions, stay abreast of legislative changes, and coordinate with HMRC and external advisors to protect financial reporting integrity.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Intercompany Accounting:</strong> Ensure accurate intercompany accounting by maintaining clean records and resolving reconciliation differences across all group entities monthly.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Payroll Oversight:</strong> Review payroll reports and journals for accuracy; serve as the primary liaison for outsourced payroll and HR to resolve discrepancies.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Intangible Assets:</strong> Oversee intangible asset accounting, including the review of additions, disposals, and amortization, ensuring all capitalized costs are properly justified.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,5,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Financial Reporting:</strong> Prepare insightful variance analyses and produce clear monthly performance commentary for leadership, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,6,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,6,0" data-index-in-node="0">Systems Optimization:</strong> Support the implementation and optimization of <strong data-path-to-node="12,6,0" data-index-in-node="69">NetSuite</strong> and other financial tools to ensure systems align with group reporting needs.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,7,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,7,0" data-index-in-node="0">Audit Management:</strong> Facilitate a timely and well-controlled audit cycle by providing accurate schedules and analytical support to external and tax auditors.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="12,8,0"><strong data-path-to-node="12,8,0" data-index-in-node="0">Ad Hoc Projects:</strong> Support group-wide initiatives and finance projects with high-level analytical input and hands-on execution.</p>

</li>
<li>
<p data-path-to-node="16,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="16,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Technical Knowledge:</strong> Strong understanding of <strong data-path-to-node="16,2,0" data-index-in-node="45">IFRS</strong> and <strong data-path-to-node="16,2,0" data-index-in-node="54">UK GAAP</strong>.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="16,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="16,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Industry Experience:</strong> Proven experience within a <strong data-path-to-node="16,3,0" data-index-in-node="48">project-based business</strong> (Essential).</p>

<p data-path-to-node="16,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="16,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Analytical Skills:</strong> Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets with strong analytical capability.</p>
</li>

<p data-path-to-node="16,5,0"><strong data-path-to-node="16,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Environment:</strong> Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environments.</p>
