<p>As the Electronics Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of building and leading a team of talented electronics engineers. You will have a pivotal role in shaping the future of our satellite technology, pushing the boundaries of what is possible, and delivering performance that sets new industry standards.</p>
<h4><strong>Role</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Directly manage, mentor, and expand a team of both junior and senior electronics engineers</li>
<li>Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to define and architect our next-generation electronic systems</li>
<li>Oversee the entire lifecycle of our electronic hardware, from design and development to implementation and verification</li>
<li>Develop and manage a detailed project schedule to ensure that our hardware development aligns with the overall program timeline</li>
<li>Drive the design process, including specification, component selection, circuit board design, and system-level integration</li>
<li>Lead the team through hands-on debugging, board bring-up, and system validation</li>
<li>Play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members to support our rapid growth</li>
<li>Provide expert support to our production and operations teams for the successful deployment and use of our hardware</li>
<li>Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Requirements</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field</li>
<li>5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced product design and development environment</li>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing complex electronic hardware from concept to production</li>
<li>A passion for hardware development and a desire to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.</li>
<li>Proven experience in building and managing teams of engineers, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Bonus</strong></h4>

<li>Experience with photovoltaics</li>
<li>Experience with Li-ion batteries and battery management systems</li>
<li>Experience with magnetics in power electronics</li>
<li>Knowledge of radiation effects on electronic components</li>

<div>Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources.
