About the Role

About Galaxy Integrated Technologies

Galaxy Integrated Technologies designs, installs, and supports integrated security and technology systems for commercial, institutional, and government customers across the Northeast. When a hospital or a college has a gap in how their buildings are secured, they work with security practitioners to close the gap. That makes for a very different first phone call than most entry-level sales jobs. For more than four decades we have built our reputation on complex, schedule-critical integration work and technical depth, and we are part of one of the fastest-growing security technology platforms in the country.

Position overview

Galaxy Integrated Technologies is looking for an early-career sales or technical security professional ready to break into enterprise sales as a Sales Development Representative (SDR).

This is where you learn enterprise sales from the ground up: how to open a conversation with a buyer who has never heard of us, and how to turn a cold name on a list into a real opportunity. You will be the first voice prospects hear from Galaxy Integrated Technologies, generating new business by landing new logos.

What you will do

Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients across our core verticals, including healthcare and higher education

Engage buyers to understand what is actually creating risk or friction in their buildings

Run outbound prospecting across phone and email, and turn trade show contacts into qualified opportunities

Run the outreach cadence around our trade shows: pre-event outreach to the people we want to meet there, and post-event follow-up with the people we met

Own the front end of the sales cycle, handing qualified opportunities to an account manager and a senior product expert who own the solution and the close, then stay close to what you brought in the door

Track every lead interaction and follow-up in HubSpot so your pipeline is legible to the people who depend on it

Learn the product from the ground up alongside experienced sales and technical staff, and join site walks to see how security solutions get designed and quoted

What success looks like

A strong week looks like:

A consistent outreach cadence every selling day across phone and email

Every meeting qualified against a clear standard before handoff, so the account manager walks into a real conversation instead of a favor

What you will bring

You will be on the phone and in email with prospects and customers all day, and you are comfortable there

You want to learn the product and how the systems work, not just talk about them, and you want to understand a prospect's business and what is actually keeping them up at night

You take direction and run the playbook you are taught. You take feedback without getting defensive and you apply it on the next call, not next quarter

Work ethic. You apply yourself every day and you are comfortable with a high-activity outbound pace

You stay consistent through a high volume of outreach, and you do not take a no personally

Technical aptitude. A technical or engineering background is a strong plus, and you are ready to learn how security systems get designed, quoted, and installed

Some cold-calling experience or a sales degree helps, but it is not required

Compensation and benefits

Compensation for this role is a combination of competitive base salary plus and incentive structure tied to activity and won business.

401k plus company match

PTO and paid holidays

Full health benefits: medical, dental, and vision available

Company paid training and silencing

Voluntary professional development opportunities

Company laptop, company phone, uniforms and gear
