<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>

<p>The Production Supervisor, Drive Unit leads a front-line production team executing Electric Drive Unit assembly operations at AMP-2. Joining at facility startup, this supervisor participates in first-build events, embeds standardized work, and builds a skilled team of Saudi national precision assemblers. The role owns shift-level Safety, Quality, Delivery, and People metrics for a section of the DU assembly line.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<p>• Own daily production execution for an assigned DU line section covering rotor/stator, gearbox, HV wiring, or EOL test</p>
<p>• Monitor cycle time, takt, OEE, FPY, and hourly build rate in real time; escalate deviations immediately</p>
<p>• Conduct structured start-of-shift briefings and end-of-shift handovers with written reports</p>
<p>• Enforce SWI compliance and Standardized Work discipline at every station</p>
<p>• Collaborate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Automation/Robotics, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, IT/OT, MES, Supply Chain, Product Engineering and suppliers to achieve operational goals.</p>
<p><strong>HV & Precision Safety (Non-Negotiable)</strong></p>
<p>• Enforce HV LOTO, HVIL continuity checks, and mandatory HV PPE at HV connector and EOL test stations</p>
<p>• Enforce calibrated torque tooling management, angle-torque verification, and critical fastener traceability</p>
<p>• Manage HV emergency isolation response during EOL testing</p>
<p>• Ensure zero tolerance for HV or precision assembly protocol compromise</p>
<p>• Own shift EHS: safety walks, near-miss reporting, and emergency response for HV incidents</p>
<p><strong>Quality & Traceability</strong></p>
<p>• Conduct process confirmation walks at all critical-to-quality hold points in the DU build sequence</p>
<p>• Manage non-conforming DU assemblies</p>
<p>• Maintain MES traceability for all serial-numbered DU components</p>
<p>• Lead shift-level RCCA and QR / QC for quality escapes</p>
<p><strong>Autonomous Maintenance & Continuous Improvement</strong></p>
<p>• Deploy Autonomous Maintenance Levels 1–3 with the team; drive centerline management and operator equipment care</p>
<p>• Monitor equipment OEE, downtime, and breakdown trends; escalate chronic losses</p>
<p>• Lead 5S, standard work improvements, and Kaizen events on shift</p>
<p><strong>Launch & Ramp-Up Support</strong></p>
<p>• Contribute to pre-production, first-off-tool, and Safe Launch events on shift</p>
<p>• Execute Layered Process Audits and Process Confirmation walks; escalate deviations via QR / QC</p>
<p>• Support run-at-rate and capacity verification events; drive corrective actions to closure</p>
<p><strong>Shift Management, Labor & Performance Control</strong></p>
<p>• Translate the production plan into labor deployment by certified station, manage attendance and maintain contingency coverage for critical operations.</p>
<p>• Lead tier meeting SPEQDC routines, escalation ownership, structured handover, visual management and recovery to plan across rotor, stator, inverter, e-motor and EOL areas.</p>
<p>• Own shift containment, stop-call-fix discipline, suspect material control, rework authorization routing and documented release criteria.</p>
<p>• Manage employee relations, coaching, performance feedback and succession in alignment with policy and regulations in KSA</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Launch Governance, Change Control & Operational Readiness</strong></p>
<p>• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, equipment acceptance, Safe Launch, run-at-rate and capacity verification with objective evidence and disciplined punch-list closure.</p>
<p>• Control production, process, software and test changes through documented risk assessment, approvals, validation, revision history and rollback or containment planning.</p>
<p>• Participate in readiness reviews, Layered Process Audits, Process Confirmation, close assigned actions, etc.</p>
<p><strong>Saudization & Team Development</strong></p>
<p>• Actively develop Saudi national operators and team leaders</p>
<p>• Build skills matrices and OJT training plans</p>

<p>• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (technical diploma with strong experience considered)</p>
<p>• 3-5 years in EV/automotive manufacturing; 2+ years in front-line supervision</p>
<p>• Working knowledge of Drive Unit assembly processes (E-motor, gearbox, EOL test, etc)</p>
<p>• HV safety competency or commitment to achieve within 60 days of appointment</p>
<p>• Fluent in English and Arabic (Arabic required for daily leadership of Saudi national team)</p>
<p>• Preferred: greenfield launch experience and Lean/TPS certification</p>
<p>• SAP/MES proficiency</p>
