This role will play a key part in supporting financial reporting, IFRS compliance, operational analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate is a recently qualified CPA with experience in the mining sector, strong technical accounting&nbsp;expertise, and a collaborative approach to partnering across corporate and operational teams.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Support the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of monthly management reporting packages, quarterly financial statements, and annual financial reporting&nbsp;in accordance with&nbsp;IFRS&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist&nbsp;in preparing Management Discussion &amp; Analysis (MD&amp;A) disclosures, technical accounting assessments, audit working papers, and IFRS accounting analyses&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner closely with Corporate Accounting and site finance teams to improve the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial information and reporting processes&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Serve as an internal IFRS technical resource and&nbsp;provide&nbsp;accounting guidance to operational finance teams&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Support external reporting requirements, including filings for TSX Venture Exchange, Nasdaq, and other regulatory reporting obligations&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare supporting schedules, variance analysis, and reporting documentation for internal and external stakeholders&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with operational and project teams to analyze mine development, construction, and exploration expenditures&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Support ERP and financial systems initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA implementation activities, financial reporting enhancements, and internal control improvements&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in ad hoc financial analysis, process optimization initiatives, and strategic projects&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the financial reporting function to support a growing mining organization&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>CPA designation required&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>3–6 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Previous&nbsp;experience within the mining industry strongly preferred&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards; exposure to US GAAP considered an asset&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Public accounting experience, particularly within a Big 4 mining practice, is considered a strong asset&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience supporting publicly traded company reporting requirements considered an asset&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficiency&nbsp;with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication&nbsp;skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and operational teams&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Development opportunities via department rotation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pay Range And Compensation Package</strong></p> <p>Compensation and benefits details will be discussed during the interview process.</p> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement</strong></p> <p>We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.</p> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
