Jensen Hughes encourage all Engineers to achieve chartered status and offer help and support during the process.</li> </ul> Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Preparing fire strategies for a wide range of buildings using ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS7974, HTM Guidance and BB100 among other documents.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Take a lead on Technical projects</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manage medium/large size projects including fee proposals and invoicing.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Be the expert to our clients and that all important first point of call.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Lead discussion with the design team, building control and fire service.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Attend industry conferences to network and embrace industry trends and best practices</li> </ul> Requirements and Qualifications To set you up for success in this role from day one (at a minimum) the following qualifications/experience are required: <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">A background in fire engineering preferably within a consultancy environment.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">A bachelor’s degree or higher within Fire engineering or similar such as Mechanical Engineering.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ideally working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The ability to undertake works independently</li> </ul> Our People Are Our Greatest Asset At Jensen Hughes, we know that our people are the foundation of our success.
