Final compensation is aligned with schedule, experience, and chosen payment structure.</li> <li><strong>Location</strong>: 222 Lime Kiln Road, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group</strong> is hiring a Board Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our established and collaborative specialty team. This role is ideal for a specialist who values case ownership, continuity of care, and close working relationships with general practitioners and referral partners.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>What to Expect</u></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>A schedule that respects your time</strong>. Flexible scheduling options available, ranging&nbsp;from&nbsp;2 to 3&nbsp;days per week.&nbsp;No overnight or emergency coverage is&nbsp;required. The hospital is fully equipped for advanced internal medicine case management, including a modern Versana Balance ultrasound (approximately 1 year old), endoscopy, ICU, radiology, spacious treatment areas, and separate patient wards. The hospital also features electronic medical records, a dental suite, an underwater treadmill, dedicated general practice and specialty surgery suites, multiple doctor offices, and a large reception area. The culture is collaborative and respectful, combining long standing community values with advanced medicine in a setting that allows specialists to focus on patient care.</p> <p>We are seeking an Internal Medicine Specialist to serve as the primary medical case manager for complex and chronic cases within an established specialty and referral model. This role supports onsite consultations, advanced diagnostics, abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, and comprehensive treatment planning, with responsibility for guiding cases from diagnosis through long term follow up. The specialist will collaborate closely with in-house general practitioners, surgical and cardiology specialists, trusted regional referral partners, technicians, and a dedicated referral coordinator to maintain clear referral pathways and coordinated care. The focus is on keeping appropriate cases local for clients and referring veterinarians while achieving strong medical outcomes without duplicating services already provided by other specialists.
