About the Role

<h2><strong>Be Part of Our Charleston Store Opening!</strong></h2> <p>Little Words Project is opening a brand-new store on King Street in Charleston, SC and we’re looking for a Store Manager to help bring it to life!</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to build a team, shape the store culture, drive sales, and create meaningful experiences for our guests from day one. If you’re a people-focused leader who loves retail, community, and a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing store team.</li> <li>Create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive store culture.</li> <li>Drive sales and guest engagement through exceptional service, clienteling, and CRM strategies.</li> <li>Monitor key sales metrics, including conversion, UPT, and AOV, and coach the team to achieve goals.</li> <li>Bring the Little Words Project brand to life through visual merchandising, product launches, events, and community activations.</li> <li>Oversee inventory, replenishment, POS, cash handling, opening/closing, and other daily store operations.</li> <li>Lead bead bar appointments, custom orders, parties, and special guest experiences.</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and on-brand store.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while adapting to the needs of a new and growing location.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of retail management experience.</li> <li>Experience hiring, scheduling, coaching, and developing employees.</li> <li>Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.</li> <li>A passion for kindness, positivity, community, and creating meaningful guest experiences.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience opening a new retail store or launching a new location.</li> <li>Experience with CRM/clienteling tools; Endear experience is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with NetSuite or other inventory/ERP systems.</li> <li>Background in specialty retail, fashion, accessories, jewelry, or lifestyle brands.</li> <li>Experience with visual merchandising, events, community partnerships, or social media.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h3> <p><strong>Be part of something new.</strong> As the Store Manager of our Charleston location, you’ll have the opportunity to build your team, establish the culture, and help introduce Little Words Project to a new community.
