This is a remote telemedicine role serving patients seeking care within our urgent care services, offering flexibility and variety. Providers licensed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and/or Maine are encouraged to apply. Part-time and per diem opportunities are available!  <h3>Your Impact</h3> <ul> <li>Deliver patient-focused care by assessing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries through telemedicine. </li> <li>Help load-balance patient volume by coordinating care between in-clinic and telemedicine services, ensuring timely access for urgent care patients. </li> <li>Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays, ECGs, lab work), and treatment planning. </li> <li>Provide patient education and counseling, covering therapeutic regimens, health maintenance, and wellness promotion. </li> <li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our electronic medical records (EMR) system. </li> <li>Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations. </li> <li>Stay informed on industry standards, emerging practices, and legislative updates to ensure top-tier care. </li> <li>Support team development by sharing knowledge and mentoring clinical staff. </li> <li>Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and quality in every patient interaction. </li> </ul> <h3>Who You Are </h3> <ul> <li>Education, Licensure, & Certifications:   <ul> <li>Master's degree </li> <li>Certification by Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certifying body  </li> <li>Have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions </li> <li>BLS certified </li> </ul> </li> <li>Relevant experience: Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred. </li> <li>Excellent team player: Enjoy collaborating with others and being a part of a strong team dynamic. </li> <li>Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal): Foreshadows and elevates concerns as they arise, unafraid of professional directness both with colleagues and patients.   </li> <li>Compassionate, authentic, and patient focused: Supports patients through kindness; demonstrating understanding for others and contributing to the creating a community of belonging. </li> <li>Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and clinical management systems (EMR).</li> <li>Strong knowledge of: <ul> <li>Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.  </li> <li>Applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations including the requirements of the HIPAA and OSHA and applicable state rules and regulations pertinent to medical practices.</li> <li>Relevant drugs and their chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. </li> <li>Non-pharmaceutical patient care aids, their applicable uses, and relevance to patient care.</li> <li>Current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Shift Requirements  <ul> <li>Full-Time*: Three shifts per week; four shifts per month will be on either a Saturday or Sunday </li> <li>Part-Time: Two shifts per week; two shifts a month will be on either a Saturday or Sunday </li> <li>Per Diem: One shift per week; a variety of days as-needed, including a Saturday or a Sunday</li> </ul> *While Full-Time Virtual Urgent Care shifts are not actively available across states at this time, we welcome conversations with qualified providers in the Pittsfield, MA for a hybrid role (2 days onsite, 1 day from home).
