About the Opportunity  Reporting to the Senior Director, Individual Giving, the Development Officer is an integral member of the Development team at the Clinton Foundation. The Development Officer works closely with the Development team to create and execute an annual giving plan to engage and solicit an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects. The Development Officer at the Clinton Foundation is a proactive, confident self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment that values results. The team works closely with volunteers and colleagues from across the organization to present the Foundation’s case for support through gifts, grants, and sponsorships. Team members collaborate to maximize engagement and giving from individual donors and institutional funders alike.  Core Responsibilities   Front-line Fundraising <ul> <li>Under the direction of the Senior Director, the Development Officer manages and grows an assigned portfolio of individual donors and prospective donors with targeted annual and multi-year giving of $1,000+ to meet established goals</li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Engages in the direct cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects, including through in-person meetings, telephone, written solicitations/proposals, email, and other means tailored as specifically as possible to donor preferences</li> </ul> Stewardship  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Develops and manages stewardship and communications activities for the Development team by leading the planning and development of regular outreach to inform, update, engage, and thank current donors</li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Leads the coordination of consistent, targeted outreach to donors for the purpose of stewarding current and lapsed donors toward increased engagement and giving. Serves as point of contact for development inquiries and Development prospects</li> </ul> Minimum Qualifications   What we’re looking for:  <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree required</li> <li>At least 7 years of professional experience in the field in positions of increasing responsibility.
