We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Position Summary</span></strong></p> <ul> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Client is looking for a Warranty Hub Housing Troubleshooting Engineers to support warranty analysis and issue resolution using GIMS (Global Issue Management System).</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and resolving housing-related warranty concerns, ensuring rapid containment and long-term corrective actions.</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">The position sits at the intersection of&nbsp;warranty, quality, and engineering, making it ideal for junior-to-mid engineers looking to grow technical and analytical expertise within a global automotive OEM.</li> </ul> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Monitor and analyze&nbsp;warranty claims and field data&nbsp;related to hub housing and associated components</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Use&nbsp;GIMS&nbsp;to track issues, document root cause investigations, and manage corrective actions</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Perform&nbsp;failure analysis and troubleshooting&nbsp;on returned parts and field reports</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Collaborate with&nbsp;design, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams&nbsp;to identify root causes</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Support development and validation of&nbsp;containment, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Prepare technical summaries, dashboards, and reports for management review</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Support plant visits, teardown activities, and supplier investigations as required</li> </ul> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Bachelor’s degree in&nbsp;Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar discipline</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">1–4 years of experience&nbsp;in warranty, quality, manufacturing, or engineering support roles</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Basic understanding of&nbsp;automotive systems and components, particularly housings or structural parts</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience or exposure to&nbsp;warranty systems or issue tracking tools&nbsp;(GIMS preferred)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong analytical and data interpretation skills</li> </ul> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience working with&nbsp;field/warranty data analysis</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Familiarity with RCA,&nbsp;&nbsp;8D problem-solving methodologies</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Exposure to&nbsp;manufacturing processes&nbsp;(casting, machining, assembly)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Understanding of&nbsp;supplier quality processes</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience</li> </ul> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Key Competencies</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Structured problem-solving</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Attention to detail</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Technical curiosity and learning mindset</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Effective written and verbal communication</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ability to work in a fast-paced, issue-driven environment</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
