<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>
<p>We're looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join our real estate accounting and reporting team for our open-end fund practice. The role touches quarterly NAV and investor reporting, joint venture accounting, REIT structures, and audit coordination. It suits someone with similar fund administration or public accounting experience who wants broad exposure to an institutional real estate platform. </p>
<p>A Senior Fund Accountant at Standish is responsible for fund accounting, capital account maintenance and financial statement preparation for clients in conjunction with the Engagement Fund Controllers, Managers and Senior managers. </p>
<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Prepare quarterly NAV calculations, unit valuations, and investor capital statements, including subscriptions, redemptions and dividend reinvestments. </li>
<li>Prepare capital call and distribution notices and track the contribution and redemption queues. </li>
<li>Assist with quarterly financial and annual reporting and performance reporting.</li>
<li>Prepare partnership income allocations and waterfall calculations for joint venture investments. </li>
<li>Reconcile quarterly fair value marks for real estate appraisals, debt mark-to-market and derivatives.</li>
<li>Record acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing's, and partner buyouts in coordination with the Transactions team. </li>
<li>Prepare workpapers and serve as a primary point of contact for annual US GAAP financial statement audits (investment company / fair value basis). </li>
<li>Improve close processes, reporting templates, and Yardi structures. </li>
<li>Mentor and review the work of staff accountants. </li>
<li>Maintenance of investor information in third-party software systems.</li>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree (Finance/Accounting/Economics concentration preferred) </li>
<li>4+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent </li>
<li>CPA is a plus</li>
<li>Previous Real Estate Private Equity preferably with open-ended fund experience </li>
<li>Knowledge of various investment accounting concepts</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook </li>
<li>Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA)</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to multitask</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team and individually</li>
<li>Ability to effectively communicate to team members</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and work ethic</li>
