As a group therapist, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. Our centrally located Chicago office is nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of North Center, not to mention the social events hosted on our fully furnished rooftop!   What You'll Do:  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Providing group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Assessing patients on daily basis for safety, ADLs, and mental status </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in patients </li> <li>Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to inform facilitation of group therapy sessions </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Relaying relevant clinical information from group sessions to treatment team during rounds and as needed </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Providing safety checks with safety plan as needed </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Developing creative program material and curriculum and adjusting group therapy content, as needed, to fit group needs </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="5" data-aria-level="1">Organizing and maintaining clinical group material to provide structure to curriculum </li> <li>Tracking frequency of skills taught in program to ensure full breadth of CBT/DBT skills are provided </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Documenting therapeutic processes, as well as all other relevant clinical information </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Communicating patient progress, interaction and presentation to clinical staff </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Completing discharges for patients discharging from the intensive outpatient program </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="5" data-aria-level="1">Creating and updating treatment plans </li> <li>Participating in professional development activities </li> </ul> Who You Are:  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Have one to two years post master’s experience, or a relevant master’s level internship within a PHP/IOP or inpatient setting </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Hold the following licenses or certifications: LCSW, LCPC, MSW, LPC, MFT, LMFT, LSW, PsyD, or PhD </li> <li>Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">We are committed to a fair and equitable work environment. This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications.
