We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer&nbsp; who wants to help build the systems that improve Waymo's core ride hailing and fleet management systems.</p> <p>In this hybrid role, you will report to an Engineering Manager.</p> <p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Help build and evolve one or more mission-critical commercialization tools and systems</li> <li>Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to develop systems and processes as business needs grow and evolve</li> <li>Solve hard, real-world problems such as workflow optimization, field escalation handling, and more</li> </ul> <p><strong>You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience</li> <li>4+ years of backend/infra experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>We prefer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with C++, java, or related structured programming language</li> <li>Experience with workflow automation</li> <li>Experience with embedded systems or embedded Linux</li> </ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p>
