This role blends <strong>hands-on testing, system analysis, and automation</strong>, with growing use of <strong>AI-assisted tooling</strong> to improve speed and insight.</p> <p><strong>How will you make an impact?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and execute <strong>performance, load, and scalability tests</strong> across services and systems.</li> <li>Analyze <strong>throughput, latency, and system behavior</strong> under realistic usage patterns.</li> <li>Identify and diagnose <strong>performance bottlenecks</strong> across application, API, and database layers.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to <strong>improve system performance and scalability early in the lifecycle</strong>.</li> <li>Build and maintain <strong>performance test suites and reusable frameworks</strong>.</li> <li>Integrate performance testing into <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> to enable continuous validation.</li> <li>Define and track <strong>performance baselines, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and key metrics</strong>.</li> <li>Use <strong>AI-assisted tools</strong> to accelerate test creation, analysis, and anomaly detection.</li> <li>Contribute to <strong>best practices and standards</strong> for performance engineering across teams.</li> <li>Support <strong>production investigations</strong> and provide data-driven recommendations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Have you got what it takes?</strong></p> <ul> <li>7–12 years of experience in <strong>performance testing or performance engineering</strong>.</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with tools like <strong>JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter</strong>, or similar.</li> <li>Solid programming skills in <strong>Java, C#, or similar</strong>.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>microservices, APIs, and distributed systems</strong>.</li> <li>Experience analyzing <strong>system performance metrics and bottlenecks</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>API testing and automation</strong>.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>cloud environments (AWS/Azure)</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>observability tools</strong> (Grafana, Prometheus).</li> <li>Experience with <strong>production traffic modeling and usage simulation</strong>.</li> <li>Exposure to <strong>AI/LLM-based tools for testing or analysis</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Tech stack (expected exposure)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Performance tools: JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter</li> <li>Java or C#</li> <li>CI/CD tools (Jenkins or equivalent)</li> <li>Git/GitHub</li> <li>API tools (Postman or similar)</li> <li>Observability tools (Grafana or similar)</li> <li>Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Req ID: 10553</strong><strong><br>Reporting into:</strong> Tech Manager, Engineering, CX<strong>&nbsp;<br>Role Type:</strong> Individual Contributor<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><strong>About NiCE </strong></em></p> <p><em>NICE Ltd.
